Daman and Diu are two union territories of India sitting on the west coast, enclosed by sea on one side and Gujarat on the other. Daman and Diu, the second smallest union territories of India are actually two separate areas geographically located within the state of Gujarat. Daman sits close to the town of Vapi in southern Gujarat, while Diu is near Junagarh in the Saurashtra Peninsula of Gujarat.

The nearest airport is in Mumbai located 193 km approx, an alternative to it is the Porbandar and Bhavnagar airports. The nearest railhead from Daman is the Vapi railway station while the Delwada Station is nearest to Diu.
